  • How do I arrange a visit? – Sure Steps holds an open door policy meaning you can come and visit us at any time convenient to you although it is always advisable to call ahead.

  • What will my child be given to eat? – Your child will be offered breakfast, a freshly prepared hot lunch with a pudding and a light tea along with 2 snack times where they will be offered options such as fresh fruit and crackers and healthy snacks such as crudités.

  • What is the minimum amount of sessions my child can do? – The minimum amount of sessions we recommend is 2 half day sessions taken over different days. This is to ensure your child is more settled when coming into nursery as they will be used to the surroundings and begin to develop attachments with their key person.

  • Do you accept vouchers as a form of payment? – Yes, we accept a multitude of childcare voucher schemes and government salary sacrifice schemes, to find out more please enquire within.

  • How do I get a funded place? – All 3&4 year old's are entitled to 15 hours funding per week for 38 weeks of the year, the term after their 3rd birthday. Working parents of 3&4 year olds are entitled to 30 hours. 

  • Children from 9 months to 2 years olds of working parents are entitled to 15 hours funding per week for 38 weeks. From September 2025 working parents will be entitled to 30 hours. Additionally, 2-year olds may also be entitled to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks depending on personal circumstances.

  • We will make all funding applications on your behalf.
